A few things from my cats:

One of mine is a toy dragon. As in, I'll see her carrying her toys into one room, one by one, and when I check on her later she's sleeping on a pile of toys she created. Adorable little monster.

Cat in box is literally the size of a bobcat (as in, vet's initial reaction was OMG BOBCAT). The box is not bobcat-sized. It took him about 10 minutes to get settled in the thing.

Because I can communicate verbally, graduated college, and have a job, so I don't fit their mold.

And yes, I know there are severely autistic individuals whose lives and thus the lives of their families are extremely, extremely difficult and heartbreaking. But that is not all people with autism.
