I look to Stephen for all my hot takes on women
“Oh, dear god, the absolute horror of sitting on a luxury transport bus longer than you think you should, did someone call FEMA and report this?”
it doesn’t. signofzeta is just reaching. what ayesha curry said isn’t even that bad, it’s just “bad” because it attacks the hallowed legitimacy of the NBA, and people are mad *because* there isn’t a way to hold her directly accountable for it.
Fuck off. Steph Curry doesn’t own her. She’s her own person.
Her getting called out isn’t the issue, it’s that Smith thinks athletes’ wives should be seen as eye candy and not heard. She can say whatever she damn well pleases.
“What is controversial about what I’m about to say, I will present in question form, rhetorical or otherwise,”
I feel iffy about this. I really don’t believe equality in imperialism is necessary. Also, I feel like women *do* shoulder a lot of childcare and this could be really devastating for a lot of families. Like are there any provisions being made for teen moms, single moms etc.?
As a parent of a daughter, I think it is unconscionable to require girls to register for selective service. I do not think father’s want to prepare their daughters for the rigors and requirements of the horrors of war.
You think women should be “just as subject,” even though their risk of violence within the U.S. Armed forces is much higher for women than it is for men. You’re asking women to take on a disproportionate amount of risk, in the name of equality
