At best, GPS is only accurate to about a meter. Also, it can be any part of the ball that crosses the line, so you’d somehow have to have the sensor be able to detect if the laces cross over the line, 2 meters above the ground, by 1 millimeter. I don’t think we’re able to do that yet.
