My understanding is that you get an ‘estimate’ before you agree to the ride. However, the actual fare still depends on true distance and time. But if it deviates too much from the estimate, you’re able to compare it to the estimate and file for your money back from Uber. Basically, there’s just added accountability.

Definitely going to watch this now!

I’m here to nitpick on your nitpick. 180 degrees changes landscape to upside-down-landscape, until the orientation auto-adjusts, in which case you’re essentially back where you’re started. 90 degrees is what you’re looking for here.

yeah, you’re right. I’m going through the features of my n5 mentally, and i’m slowly realizing just how many features got skimped on: battery life, camera quality, tinny speakers... Still love the thing though. Guess I’ll just hold onto it till the bitter end :)

I’m confused then. Why are there 2 speaker ‘grills’ on the front then? Did they really use that entire space for a mic? The 5X is really starting to look like they took a ton of shortcuts to fit under that $400 line...

I’m pretty sure it has stereo front speakers.

Why would Apple send Gizmodo a paycheck? Giz has actually been blacklisted by them since the stolen phone incident a couple years back.

SD820 won’t be ready until early 2016, supposedly.

Literally as I was reading this article, my phone pinged. Turns out, it was from Pebble/Kickstarter announcing the round.

You realize the article you just linked to is written by the same author...

Yeah, it seems to have much less functionality than the android version of ‘ok google.’ I’d bet that starts to roll out before the end of the year though.

I don’t understand.
