One more thing even though I have not had an accident in 15 years and have never been involved in more then a fender bender ever I still spend a lot more for insurance then gas. Fix that and I would be a lot more happy then better fuel economy.

I drive a small car and am quite happy with my fuel economy. I don’t want the automotive industry doing crazy stuff like eliminating the spare tire to get to 54 mpg. Also if people want to buy big trucks and vans it is their money to spend as they want. Me I will keep driving small cars and renting a Uhaul truck…
