If I'm responding to you, you're probably wrong.

I’ve had more clamshells leak than bags. Those lids can shift way too easily. The bags are great.

As a former grocery bagger I can confirm that those clamshells would pop open all the damn time anyway.  The bags work better for containing the mess, not worse.

Almost like you get less car for half the price.

All the fucks! Another of my childhood heroes gone too soon.

I find your opinion to be perfectly reasonable and nuanced. I don’t disagree with a a word of it. However, I simply can’t get behind boycotting Chick-fil-a because their owner is an asshole and they give money to the Salvation Army.

Some hopefully helpful responses from an omnivore who’s eaten a fair amount of meat substitutes (many veggie/vegan friends & family):

I just posted this, but I am buried in the greys; so you may not get to read this. I saw a T-shirt like this. Copy and paste of my other reply:

The early Renaults like the 1900 model you show used a thermosiphonic cooling system; there’s no water pump. Instead, the temperature difference between the hot water in the block and the cold water in the exposed radiator creates enough circulation by convection to transfer the heat.

The first thing to remember is that a grand jury isn’t empowered to do anything but investigate, and declare charges. That is, the government can’t just decide to charge someone with a felony - they must first convince a group of jurors convened solely for that purpose (aka the “grand jury”) that there’s enough

Consumers have full faith that automakers will sell them a safe and reliable product

The difference is that she is getting paid to be inconvenienced while everyone else paid for the pleasure.

If you don’t want to deal with annoyed customers, don’t take a job where your primary duty is dealing with customers in an industry where they are often annoyed.

The difference being she’s getting paid while the passengers are paying for the experience of not getting to their destination on time.

Offset stripes are the best.

ACR is going to kick the shit out of you for saying that.

strictly speaking—there is no such thing as non-tomato ketchups in the US

The jury was given evidence as to whether or not Monsanto was a contributing factor in their cancer. They decided who gave the most compelling evidence.

I think the jurors might have said this is Trumps EPA, and doubted the conclusion.  After all, they have retroactively “corrected” similar statements on how hazardous some materials are.

That Monsanto’s own lawyers said “it’s safe enough to drink” puts the juror’s comment much more in perspective. Without this added piece of info, it seemed the juror’s suggestion was kinda out of the blue. Thanks.

It read something on Jezebel?
