This game used to terrify me as a kid as well. I re-played it recently on a browser DOS simulator. It was great fun going back to it, but I spent most of the time marvelling at how far games have come since and laughing at how natural the control scheme used to feel (it has not aged well!)

Do you happen to know how the PS3 version runs, and if it’s missing any features? I’d really love to play this (loved 3 & 4) but I don’t have a PS4 and won’t be able to get one for quite a while.

I saw this a couple of months ago when it came to cinemas in the UK. Both my girlfriend and I absolutely loved it - it was a spectacular film.

I’m also a proud Lincolnshire yellowbelly! I did take team yellow, because there were no Instinct gyms on my local map so I thought I could claim a few... I was horribly wrong. All my pokemon are now KOed and I have no revives D:.

My computer (running windows 8.1) mysteriously decided to update itself to windows 10 this weekend while I was watching a movie on it.

I too backed this game and am feeling sad.

The Steam version of Jade Empire won’t work on any OS after windows XP without some hacking around, as it has some annoying extra DRM that stops it from running on new machines.

I know that feel :(
