If losing a rotary is inevitable, an Inline 6 is at least an acceptable consolation. I’m not a big rotary nerd, I just think they sound cool and I appreciate things that are different. But I also recognize it might just be a concept that will never pan out to the extent that piston engines have.

If we can have a “Turbo” electric Porsche or a Mercedes AMG “63” with a 4.0 liter engine, then why not an RX with an in-line 6?

I really want one of these. I haven’t even seen it, but everyone I know who has ever rode electric bikes has noted how smooth they are, how they don’t vibrate, and how the center of gravity is so much lower.

Look, I get it, FCA has to protect their trademark. No doubt about that. What gets me though is how this isn’t even tarnishing the brand and is meant to be driven off road. It is essentially a front-engined SXS. I would gladly buy this over a Polaris RZR or any other popular SXS.
