The Gang Dilutes a Brand Name
The Gang Dilutes a Brand Name
We of course had quite a bit of fun at the event :P
I plan on putting the electric motor from a Barbie Hot Wheels Jeep in my father’s Dodge Caliber, so he can finally experience some real power.
I’m not gonna lie, the thought of old cars getting new life by having an electric drivetrain swapped in interests me greatly. Especially luxury brands.
This reminds me of that racing BMW...
My wife made me work with her to make this staged pic of my cat earlier this week. I couldn't help put to make a meme out of it.
The Clio V6 is wonder itself. I love the fact that’s the interior is the same as my grandpa’s 60hp one. It really says “fuck it, what matters is speed”.
Absolutely the correct answer, take a normal sensible hatchback and shove a V6 in the boot and enjoy. Who needs a hatchback that you can actually use?
I'd argue the Miata is necessary for Mazda. They built a reputation behind that car and being the sporty mainstream brand.
The Ford Flex is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting cars the company has made recently.
The Stinger. In a market that’s needlessly switching to crossovers, its the combination of a shrinking market that shouldn’t be. Its a 4 door liftback sports sedan. Kia could’ve given us a performance crossover that slotted between the Sportage and the Sorrento. Thank god they didn’t.
How about a practical hot hatch with literally none of the practicality?
It actually destroys brand equity when you misuse a brand.
I can't wait for the Ford Mustang Ecosport, the Ford Mustang Escape, the Ford Mustang Edge, the Ford Mustang Explorer, the Ford Mustang Transit, the Ford Mustang Transit Connect, the Ford Mustang F150, the Ford Mustang F150 Raptor, and the Ford Mustang Mustang.
Ah shit. They did the thing. They couldn’t just let it be its own car. It’s gotta be called Mustang.
Mid-engined RWD sportscar, meet snow. Have you met snow’s friend, wall?
I did this with my Autozam with only 63 hp. When the rear end starts to slide, the instinct is to let off the throttle. That makes the car snap back and spin out. It’s very common in mid rear engine cars. Lift off snap oversteer.
Mid engined cars tend to spin out much more easily than front engined cars, due to the extra weight in the back.
Somewhere Patrick George is thinking to himself, “Are you going to stop sending THAT GUY press cars too!!!?”
