Why swap a Toyota V8 in to a BMW?

Quick! We need something to distract fans pissed off about the Hong Kong thing! Ideas?”

Exactly.  It’s a test to see if you are a complete mark.  Leave.

To be fair, you’re a reader and commentor on Jalopnik...

It amazes me that people will go to a dealership without a clue of what they can afford or even want.  If I’m going in it’s to test drive a specific car that I know I can afford (or know I can’t but want to test for other reasons)

LOL

We rented a 2-door Wrangler for a couple of days, that was enough to convince that we don’t want own one.

A modern Nissan dealer only staffs the place enough to quickly sell Rogues and Altimas to people coming in the door with no other options.

“ On the other hand, you only live once and something like a Jeep Wrangler isn’t an overly ridiculous purchase.”

RIGHT.

Every time I see this particular style, I think of transformers.

I am excited to watch the cars break more. watching these current cars go over rumble strips with a lot of lateral loading, you see just how much of that lateral strain the tires absorb. so now there is going to be less area for the tire to absorb that lateral load. it will be transferred into the suspension, which

The wheels might be tiny, but the tyres absolutely are not! You make it sound like F1 has been running the 10” wheels from the front of a Tyrrell P34!

I thing the small wheels and large sidewall look so much better than bigger wheels and smaller sidewalls.

It’s pretty cool that both F1 and Nascar are making the jump to 18" at the same time. I wasn’t sure I’d like it, the nascar 15" steelies are so classic. But to me this looks great.

This has always been my perspective - the Tesla is a comfortable electric, expensive but not outrageous - and can you believe it’s also competitive with a $150k Porsche?! The last part is a bonus.

I think there’s been a perception that the Tesla Model S is a luxury car in the same sense that a BMW or Mercedes is. It’s never been anything more than the Camry/Accord of EVs, so the Taykan being a lot nicer isn’t surprising.

Yeah, Spanfeller is really fucking everything.

Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn’t matter if you win by half a second or half an hour; winning’s winning.

Honestly that is kind of a tough choice when you figure that twice the price get you less than Half a second in the quarter mile and .007 seconds to 60 the latter of which is utterly meaningless
