Then by all means overtorque all of your lug nuts and severely fatigue your wheel studs and have fun when the studs snap mid corner.

Every auto manufacturer has torque specs for lug nuts, which is why I torque mine to spec. Also, I can’t count the number of times that a shop has crossthreaded wheel studs by installing via impact wrench. Hell, when I made them replace all of the wheel studs and torque the lug nuts, they STILL overtorqued the lug

The perk of a supercar is laughable ground clearance, which means that the center of gravity may be the lowest of any production car we’ve ever seen. For all we know it could be 6wd, under 3100#, and go 0 to 60 in under 2 seconds.

Good question. We’ve already done it to the CVT with fake gears.

So basically like riding a literal wild mustang.

Subary standart practive...

You only have yourself, the consumer to blame for the fake shift points ruining the CVT. Engineers wanted it seamless, efficient, and optimized, but focus groups of consumers like you constantly bitched about how there needed to be gears, because you were too unwilling to adopt new technology. You were too stubborn

You can thank Rupert Murdoch for that.

Whaaa? Vehicles last a long time when they’re properly maintained & not abused? Whaaa?

Good improvements, but I still wish they’d use a turbine engine for the generator.

1st gear: never. When gas gets super expensive, only then will you start to hear about the potential of mainstream hybrid electric trucks.

I support this build, because I support anything that pisses off the Ferrari Kool-Aid drinkers.

However much will get my car up to the speed limit, because I have no qualm with frequently making my accelerator pedal intimate with the floor.

It’s only because the sedan is such a perfect sedan shape. I really want to build an is430.

Drifting eats tires? Orly?

Wrong. IS300 Sportcross with 2Jz-GTE wins because wagon>sedan>coupe/hatchback.

No charging network = no consideration. Might as well get a gasoline fueled car that you can only fill at home.

1st gear:

None of that, obviously. There’s so much fat to be trimmed just in terms of timelines, it’s refreshing to see some difficult deadlines being set.

Cut out the bullshit that permeates most auto manufacturing, and this seems easily feasible.
