The town I live in has been phasing out their Crown Vics and using more Taurus and Explorer squad cars. I asked an officer what he thought of the new cars and he said he was a fan, largely because the AWD made them much better during the winter.

I always thought the SHO would be an awesome DD. Of course, I like to mess with my cars and the idea of making a barge like the Taurus super powerful sounds pretty interesting...

Why's that? I didn't catch much of it so I probably missed whatever it is you're talking about.

I mean, yeah the engine is smaller and less powerful. But it's a cool looking car with a light chassis and a 356 motor! I drove a Beetle with one of those a while back and it was a blast, so I'll bet this would be a great time as well.

It's rare to find a wagon from that era (or almost any era it seems) in that not-terrbile condition. It'd make an interesting project, and I'm sure that 400 has a bit more to give with the right tweaking...
