I racecar'd the hell out of a Mk6 GTI with a DSG for a day. I thought I was gonna fall asleep.

I hope they leave the DSG out. Yeah, it's a nice auto transmission and it shifts super quick, but IT'S SO GOD DAMN BORING TO USE.

Just outside Spokane with Autosports Northwest (ASNW). Most of the time they do 2 days of racing back to back on the weekends, but you can always just do one day if you don't have time for both. Come race with us sometime!

My first car was almost a 924S, which is a 924 with the bigger 944 2.5 engine. I still sometimes wish I'd bought it.

That looks like a really nice AutoX setup! For those curious, your average autocross day is usually about $25-$60 depending on what area you're in. Here in eastern Washington I'm lucky enough to have access to $25/day events, which is fantastic since I'm a college student without a ton of money to burn. It doesn't

Maybe where you go. Where I go there was once a Hyundai Santa Fe.

First, we need a blower sticking through the grill. And probably a shark mouth taking up the whole front of the thing. Maybe re-do the big "W" in the same two-tone fashion as ZZ Top put on the Eliminator Coupe. Some really deep dish wheels or some Bonneville-style solid plates would look pretty good. Straight pipes

Looks like a failed Tatra 613 concept.

Alpina makes everything better

The e38 is my favorite 7 series, and one of my favorite BMWs altogether (based on looks, that is). The new ones look too much like the current 5 series IMO.

I'll be honest, I prefer the haunched-up back end look of the old one. This still looks good, though.

If they continue to offer RWD alongside AWD like AMG is starting to do, who cares? AWD is fun, too!

Alright, everyone, hear me. One GMC Canyon. Add equal parts AWD (or part time 4WD), and turbo V6. Stir evenly until Syclone II.

Don't you make this, VW. DON'T YOU MAKE IT BECAUSE THEN I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BUY IT.

The Dune concept is powered by VW's 208-horse turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, with a DSG gearbox. To make sure it can actually go sort-of offroad, it's also got an electronic differential. But it's still front-wheel drive, so boo.

I really wish it was called "Big Bad Green" or "Limes A-Go-Go". It looks really cool. Might be up there with my other favorite car colors, BMW Technoviolet and Subaru Plasma Blue.

Performance

Ford took a Transit van and put a race engine in the middle. There were 3 generations, and the 2nd and 3rd also had fiberglass bodies. I believe the Supervan 1 had a GT40 powerplant, the 2 had a 3.9 Cosworth DFL engine in the 80's, and the 3 had some kind of newer Cosworth V8 (HB I think?). Pretty much the greatest

For just knowing of the great Transit Supervan, you have earned the title of My Favorite Person on the Internet.

Dealer wrecks the car, dealer should replace the car, end of story. I can't express how bad I feel for the Hoopers.
