I don't think it's the missing eyes so much as the fact that when my brain tries to put them in place, based on the shadow the brow, they seem far too low. Compare the top of the eye area to the placement of the ears. Are the proportions weird, or is it just a trick of the (non-)light?

I love this idea. I've gotten a lot better in recent years at being on time for things, but I think I'm going to start giving this a try.

I could possibly see a film working if it slotted seamlessly into the current Doctor's storyline... sort of like the first X-Files film, which (while not a success in and of itself) didn't really hurt the show behind it. But I still don't think it would really add anything of value.
