Hey, Legumes, way to snatch a small defeat from the jaws of debate victory.

Chicken and egg: I could really use something like this to improve my productivity, but because I'm always so aware of how much I have left to get done at the end of the day, I don't know if I could make myself break away to journal.

Does what it says on the box, and with a fairly small executable, which is nice.

I agree with pretty much the entire article. I'll also add, purely for derisive value, that the early mp3 players - like my Rio PMP300 - a whopping 32MB on that puppy! - had the audacity (no pun intended) to list 128kbps as "near-CD quality." Yeah, right.

This is possibly the most depressing (albeit interesting) thing I've read all month. At some level, logical discussion - what those in generations before referred to as rhetoric - must have some value. It can't be as clear-cut-impossible as the article would imply... can it? Seriously - is there any hope to the notion

Outdoor establishing shot, then almost entirely on-set filming? That's not just standard Who, that's standard television.

Not quite as bargain-bin, no.

It's a FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...!

I've often wondered how they get things to (seem to) move through the air in stop-motion. I suspect it's either armature hidden behind the object, or wires that are painted out, but sometimes I see a bit where I don't think either could possibly be true.

See, that's what I've always said. The prophecy was right: when Anakin was finally done, there were two Sith (Sidious, Vader) and two Jedi (Yoda, Kenobi). Perfect balance.*

So weird. I have little problem with the colors - it's the new hunchback design I can't stand.

Bzzzt! Sorry, the correct answer is Hoodwinked Too.

Nothing I've seen online in the past month has made laugh as hard as that photojob.

I will admit, it's still not clear to me why post-Big-Bang-Two Rory remembers those thousand years.

And for the rest of y-AAAAH GOD NOW YOU'VE GOT ME DOING IT SHADDAAAAAAAAAP!

Being a Doctor Who fan, I noticed at least two references to the Doctor Who theme music & credits in this short documentary (the "slit-scan" tunnel and what appears to be footage of Delia Derbyshire at work); I can't help wondering if they really wanted to do a documentary short on Doctor Who and were somehow thwarted

There's an option that turns the burning on and off. You probably didn't have that selected. Why on earth that's not the default I don't know.

It's custom content that the Razer people made for Portal 2. Find out more here in the video: [youtu.be]

It must be nice to live in a world where every molester is on file with the police.
