Thanks to SCOTUS's recent ruling about corporate giving to political campaigns, "don't vote for that person again" is a completely useless threat.

@SamBiddle: I think you mean tenet, not tenant. Unless you're saying net neutrality is actually living in a commune.
Except this works both ways. You know that psychotic ex-husband who used to rape his wife and sexually molest his children? The guy she finally got up the guts to divorce? Yeah, here he comes with a shotgun, and he knows her every move. Of course, the police know his, too, but by the time they get there, the blood's…
Okay, here's something weird - put the full-sized window-blind image on your screen, then use your mouse-wheel to scroll up and down. If your mouse wheel is set to jump rather than scroll smoothly, it creates a strange 3D effect.
I sort of caught it, but then when I replied I couldn't think of a matching response. I should have taken that as a cue not to submit... but, alas, no.
Except Ben Franklin would have been unlikely to write "Internets." Like most people of his day, he placed great value on what was perceived to be "correct" use of language.
@Lynx: The "actual history of the Amazons?"
@Whitson Gordon: I like Quizno's food, but seem to have an easier time finding waistline-friendly food at Subway.
@bachcottage: It's not intended to stop a determined user. It's intended to stop someone who wants to get work done but sometimes lacks the willpower to break away from certain websites.
This sounds like a great idea, until you have an account on a system where your passwords have to be changed periodically - especially if it doesn't allow password reuse.
@TemporalSword: Or in case your home flies away and you want to know if the motive force is a set of engines or a space whale.
@FrankN.Stein: You're saying God's name is "Benford?"
@Island of Misfit Toys: I'm with you. Russell T Davies once said that the appeal of Doctor Who over Star Trek, especially for the young, was that you could imagine the TARDIS materializing on your street corner and the Doctor inviting you on his travels... whereas the Enterprise is hundreds of years in the future…
I used to use XNote StopWatch ([www.xnotestopwatch.com] back when it was at version 1.40. Haven't needed it for a while, and it's up to 1.60 now, so I can't comment on the current version, but 1.40 was very flexible and simple to use.
@kellanpan: I'm getting to the site just fine - but the downorisitjustme site claims it's down. I think the problem is with the downor... site.
Until there's a web-based or PC desktop version of this, I'm using ChoreWars instead: [www.chorewars.com]

@crosis101: It could jibe. Reports are that the TRON world/server has been cut off from the outside world for quite some time (which, in TRON time, is quite-some-even-more-time.) In the original film, contact with the Users had only been lost within recent memory.
Can I cast a write-in vote for Doctor Steel? Cuz Doctor Horrible's just a Doctor Steel clone anyway. ;-)
