During my freshmen year, a friend at UVA was in a car driving back from some off campus party with 4 or 5 other people when they came upon a blackout drunk UVA football player stumbling down the side of the 2-lane country highway in Charlottesville. They picked him up and drove him back to campus and the entire time

He and I were the same year at UVa. There were rumors (I’ve never confirmed them, but want to believe!) that he would bed women at his parents’ home in Albermarle County, then have Howie drive them back to their dorm. Is it a walk of shame if Howie is your chauffeur?

uhh, Hillary?

Hopefully he will come down from the rafters and beat the shit out of Drake.

See, this is the kind of shit that worries me if Hillary gets the nom. I don’t see a lot (any, actually) of Hillary supporters saying they won’t vote for Bernie if he wins, but I see an awful lot of Bernie supporters saying they won’t vote for Hill, and I’m sure there are plenty more who just wouldn’t show up to vote

Travels With Charley is the lightest of Steinbeck’s books, but a classic nonetheless. I love it a lot.

I second On the Road. If you’re into poetry and like OTR, definitely check out Allen Ginsberg’s poetry. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is also good!

How are you gonna grow old alone when you have a terrific daughter and awesome friends?

You are awesome. I don't feel so alone now. Sob..

Happy snow day!

Walk away.

1984. A classic that is becoming increasingly relevant.

It’s my anniversary, Jezzies! 7 years of wedded bliss with my baby and tonight we’re going out to have dinner at the restaurant where he proposed. :) I’m looking forward to a delicious dinner and a romantic night with my boo, which we really needed since we’ve both been crazy busy lately. Can’t go out of town because

I have read Slaughterhouse Five, but not the other one. And so it goes... :)

Yowch. Hope you feel better! As for books, I never get tired of The Grapes of Wrath or The Good Earth. Both put me into a fuck yeah proletariat mindset. :)
