It did fully blow.

As if they had anything to show. Good riddance I say. Clearly the prospect of not hosting an embarrassing conference is a major deterrent for them.

Tits.

The mental image here is killing me. Seriously. Nazis.

The co-op is still being played? Really? I got bored out of my mind after grinding the 100% readiness I wanted to have, but ultimately didn't need...

Hmmm, might have something to do with trying to kill the other person in close combat and the neck area being one of the most vulnerable spots you can attack.

I imagine all those new tools and neat shortcuts introduced will allow devs to save time on basic asset creation and debugging and instead spend it on refining gameplay.

This pic has to be the best thing that came out of LA Noir. That is LA Noir, right?

Um, no? The technical walkthrough of the new features implemented in UE4 does? Something that hasn't been shown for Luminous?

It's nice to see Epic catching up to some of the features CE3 already has and adding something new to the mix.

Eh, the concept of realtime rendering is so elusive in this case that there's no way of telling now which of the two is better for game development. Sure, SE's looks better, but how much of that was precomputed data being pushed through rendering software?

I assume the insane revenue ActiBlizz brings isn't being converted into profit. So, in true corporate spirit of fucking things up, Vivendi ponders the possibility of selling what is it's highest yielding branch (not the biggest), instead of restructuring it.

Not really. Not when one is an open world game and the other is a few rooms and corridors.

I was wondering why I got a familiar vibe from this. Guess the insides of a T-55 should be close to those of T-34.

SE won't be selling it's flashy tech demo to anyone trying to develop a game? Yeah, that's a real loss right there.

You cannot cheat costs. Machines that can run demos like that cost, and they cost a lot. We're talking multiple highend GPUs and super fast RAM. Yes, clever engineering and coding can push the limits of hardware, but the textures alone would smother anything that would fit into a $500 console, not even mentioning

It has nothing to do with PC elitism. Unless they plan on jamming the contents of the dev station that was running that demo into the next Xbox/PS, there is no way the so called next gen consoles could lift this. Not when the last hardware speculation puts them on year old GPUs.

Next gen, as in next gen consoles? Haha. Hahahahahaha. Haha. Ha
