I think Moffat's biggest problem is he tries to squeeze two hour plots into one hour episodes. Then he stretches one hour plots across entire seasons. It's the most bizarre case of poor judgement on the part of how long a storyline should be. Individually, I like many of the IDEAS he's trying to portray, but the

Eh. He should just say the obvious. "Dude. It's been years. Get over it. Netflix the old episodes or whatever."

Marky Mark in da hoooouuuuse!

Don't worry. A president after him will crack that puppy open and be all, "Dude, collector's edition. Sweeeet." Then he'll give a speech about a war in some faraway place using his drone fleet of ships, drone squadrons of fighters, drone platoons of fighting ground-based robots, and drone armada of spaceships.

No fate…

I think this is just an opposite version of "A New Hope."

Hopefully, they put The Simpsons out of all our misery soon. There's literally nothing The Simpsons does that's worth staying on TV for and there are plenty of better series that picked up the baton first carried by it.
