I need to buy a new MacBook Pro soon, but I don't want to sell my black MacBook. I don't know why, but I just love this computer so much. One of the last Apple products because they sold out... :'(

@cthulhu944: This is just Cheese on Toast (or at least that's what its known as here in the UK). Traditional Welsh Rarebit is when you make a sort of cheese and mustard sauce and bake in a dish with cheese on toast in it.

Sorry, but ClearType is quite clearly better than the font AA in OS X, and I use both Leopard and Vista so I am in a good position to make a fair judgement. The Apple font rendering is like fuzz city compared to that on Windows.

Dafont is THE GREATEST! It is probably one of my most hit non blog/news/social networking sites. Definitely one to keep in the bookmarks!

@Joel Guth: It isn't strictly necessary but Win7 is pretty crippled without it imo.

@jupiterthunder: That cable is a mini USB cable... $10 USED!!! It's a flippin mini USB cable, they cost about 20p!Custom firmware does require some skill to install but it's not terribly hard, and the results are worth while.

Finally, iPlayer is what I have been waiting for :D Shame about there being no new mac mini at macworld :\

@ihtarlik: I used vista from RC1 and had very few problems, and that was on a 2Ghz P4 with 1GB of RAM. SP1 did make it a heck of a lot better though...

@Zundfolge: US gas is pretty horrendous stuff compared to the EU! Premium unleaded over there is lower octane than bog standard unleaded here in the UK. Super unleaded is usually 99 octane compared to about 92 or 93 over there!
