I guess I am one of the few blind ones - I’ve now seen the new Silverado in person and I like it.  I have read the articles/etc. and I don’t see how this is such a universal “panning” of the design.  I can find just as many faults in the design concepts of Ford and Ram’s current trucks <shrug>.

The only thing I see with the Silverado is that it looks more contemporary where the Ram and F-150 have a vaguely traditional aesthetic. One thing I never understood is why GM doesn’t capture sales of the Sierra and Silverado in the same scope. If you add up the sales of both trucks (which are basically identical aside from varying trim levels and a different grille), the GM pickup is still ahead of the Ram and a LOT closer to the sales of the F150.
