I can't imagine it will dump compatibility for programs that support Vista/7. Same for in-place upgrades. I can see how some won't work in the Metro UI but from the desktop UI I'm sure it'll be fine..

Ok relax there is a desktop option. You can turn Metro off completely if you want! You can also just sit in a cave with your eyes closed and ears plugged and let every little bit of progress pass you by if you want!

While I do agree with you somewhat I don't think I've ever seen a GPS watch that looks any better...I have a Garmin and its the size of a small AC adapter and the display is just as bad haha
