I never believed Manny was juicing because the guys he was knocking out were all stiffs or completely finished. There was no need to hypothesize any explanation for Manny other than Bruce Trampler’s eye.

Qualified? Sure. A threat to beat Floyd? No. I covered each of the fights you mentioned and didn’t give any of those guys a prayer against Floyd. Mosley was too old, and got an undeserved pop for beating a completely spent Margarito who was totally listless even before he got to the ring. Before that, he’d struggled

An oblivious, humourless Boston fan? I refuse to believe it.

Or maybe he UNDERSTANDS their cause but doesn’t want to support it himself!!

I’m ok with them standing next to them with a hand on the shoulder. I’m actually more ok with that than someone kneeling with them not truly committed to the cause. Nothing wrong with this picture in my eyes.

If I were to ask, “What is the best Coen brothers movie?” I’m sure I’d get many well thought out reasonable answers. But just remember they’d be wrong unless you answered Fargo, the perfect movie.

I don’t see it for B0ldin. I have never been a big fan of compilers making the HOF without also passing the eye test. Boldin was very good for a long time, but there was never a game I saw against him where I thought “uh oh, Boldin’s out there, we’re in trouble today”

“...the beauty that is being taken out of our cities, towns and parks will be greatly missed and never able to be comparably replaced!”

of course it’s good to have discussions about the moral failures of our national heroes. Understanding the Founding Fathers as complex individuals who did both great and terrible things helps us be better citizens. But it’s still a false equivalency. The monuments to Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, etc are all

i give it a day before trump has someone put a cnn logo on that guy’s shirt.

Counterpoint: As a Niners fan, watching this Colts’ team the past few years has made me feel really, really bad for Frank Gore. Poor dude manages to escape the implosion of the Niners, only to leap into that mess.

I flea what you mean, but I dust don’t see him staying this productive throughout the life of his contract. Any potential trade partner would also have to chigger with his injury history, there could be a lot of dead money in the back end of that deal.

I am sorry to hear that. I don’t think my judge was bad, he was just very strict about me answering questions very concisely and formally. If I answered ‘yeah’ instead of ‘yes’ in the middle of a string of dozens of yes or no questions, he would stop everything to chew me out and order me to answer questions

Holy shit, that’s incredible. James Jones was still on the Cavs last year?

I’m curious...what would the compromise be? Half a child that they share with another family?

Kaep only seems bad if you just watch his games against the Seahawks. He’s had some terrible supporting casts ever since Harbaugh left and a quarter of the team decided to up and retire. I struggle to grasp why a player protesting the anthem for a noble cause can turn a player more radioactive than a player who’s

Have we regressed as a society to the point when where we assign stars for knowing and using basic grammar? What’s next, a lollypop for anyone not festooning their posts with smilies and winkies?

I’m a sort-of Niners fan, in that I live in Sacto. I just don’t understand why a team would give $10 mill to Cutler when the guy’s approach to football seems so “eh, whatever” and whose teammates don’t really seem to like him.

I posted this to the JayWatch article last night, but I’ll repost here.

It’s interesting you mention the American Idol gig because that’s what solidified the jumping-the-shark-ness for me. Doesn’t seem like a move for someone who’s at the top of their game.
