Did you miss the rest of the article or the title?

Cavill IMO carried this show, cos it was trashy but watchable despite being a bit of a mess; with Geralt’s attitude a big part of what held it together. Leaving aside as well the amount of sheer thirst for Cavill in the first place. I really have no faith the lesser Hemsworth can be that glue. I’d not be shocked at

Remedy makes bangers, for sure. The only game I’ve been so-so on was Quantum Break, which was still interesting enough that I’m glad I played it.

Bugs and broken game mechanics don’t mean it wasn’t playtested, it just means the issues playtesters found weren’t fixed.

Gerrymandering and voter suppression laws have made it basically impossible for Democrats to regain power in Florida or Texas. This is not the fault of current Democrats who ace an extremely unlevel playing field. Yes, the Republican extremism should’ve been curtailed before it reached this point, but we can’t go back

Let them fight.

Just because the bug wasn't fixed, doesn't mean it wasn't found.

It was tested and lots of bugs would have been written. I can guarantee you that. But, there’s a difference between writing bugs, and them being fixed. If someone high up decides polish isn’t a priority, then the QA team can only do so much.

I’d bet money they’re already talking about it.

Welp, we all know how this ends...

Being a totally dull nerd, I just discovered I’ve never actually known what poppers are. I’ve heard the term and I think I thought they were pills like uppers. I can’t really be surprised that a small bottle with liquid in it might accidentally be downed like a shot, no matter how bad it smells/tastes.

Very much this. Most licenses require you to release a title within a set timeframe or you lose the license completely. Better to release a half-assed game today and sell 1,000 copies than to lose the license tomorrow and sell 0.

Some studios still respect their customers.

it likely wasn’t their choice. with an IP like this the publisher likely forced release.

“I think we can focus on more deadly things”

Man, imagine if Diablo 1 had patched out duplication back in 1996. And that was a game with multiplayer.

Reminder, kids: always play offline/disable automatic updates while you're away.  Dont let grouchy companies take away the fun you dropped almost 100 bucks for.

It wasn’t uncommon for popular movies to win Best Picture back then. Francis Ford Coppola was of the same generation of “upstarts” and two of his movies, both of which were very popular, won. The Sting and Rocky, which also won Best Picture less than a decade before Raiders, were also both huge, popular hits. It was

Competing against Chariots of Fire was a toughie.

I saw this in the theaters when I was 11, with my dad, firmly convinced they were looking for Noah’s Ark despite the fact that I was already half a decade into Catholic school. Nobody ever said I was a *good& Catholic, mind you.
