Not only that, but the next-gen console version isn’t even technically out yet. It won’t be out until next year. The version I’m playing on my PS5 is the PS4 version, because... that’s what there is to play.

This happens in every generation shift, GTA did the same thing.

I just realized that my friend’s complaint of “It’s really weird, you have to put the games in with the art side down” really just means that he also has it upside down.

They’ve been working on this game for years and years with a lot of investment. Why would they want to limit the game’s availability to just next gen consoles and PC? They’ll lose out on a TON of sales on previous gen consoles, because that’s where the install base of potential buyers are. There aren’t enough owners…

Yeah, but not everyone recognizes actors on sight, especially not if they happen to have not seen their recent work. That’s precisely why media outlets usually include a short mention of notable roles when reporting on actors (ie, “Chris Evans, best known for playing Captain America...”)

Fwiw, blind people use the internet too. And if the accessibility captioning embedded in the image says “Elliot Page”, the image doesn’t help solve the mystery.

And yet lifehacker somehow missed that trick. It only took me a couple minutes on google to figure it out, but it almost creates a deadname scavenger hunt while I try to figure out what Elliot Page used to be called.
