Yeah, it's scooby-do levels of stupid. I am unsurprised that it is being reevaluated with rose tinted glasses, but it's just as stupid as it seemed at the time. If it wasn't connected to a juggernaut franchise, it would be a completely forgotten flick.

Early 2010s is a far cry from

I think part of that is down to timing, where the movies came out right as the whole “professional YouTuber” culture was starting”

Yeah, this is a stupid list by someone who clearly hasn’t watched the Corman catalog. The Poe 8 are entirely skippable, while the movies he produced rather than directed in the 70s and 80s are his best, like BBtS, Rock and Roll High School and Deathsport. Also recommend Targets from the 60s. The original Little Shop

I don't get the impression that anyone cares about ai in their phones. There is absolutely zero buzz outside of articles like this.

No, ya didn’t. You went on a rant about emails, having not read the article, obviously. So do you also not have Google?

These "how did we get here" prequels are rarely good. I don't have high hopes, but we'll see.

“at the very least when I see some kinda of email that looks like something”

“all its news from X”

Oh no! I am so sorry for accidentally causing another human to hear that damn song. It’s funny, for a song about food, it never mentions poke, which is so much better, and completely different than mainland poke. Most of the food in Hawaii is terrible.

Man, when I lived in Hawaii you could get like 2 stations, and unless you want to listen to preaching or Fish and Poi on repeat (don't ask), you're not gonna be tuned in for emergencies, it's all coconut wireless (local speak for word of mouth).

Even in the 80s it seemed obsolete. I will say, I did live on the big island for a year, in the tiny... Not even town of Hawi, and AM was all I could get, but even that barely came in, and I wasn’t going to leave that on all of the time in case an emergency happened.

After the huge leak years ago I can't believe anyone is still using this. Moreover, it's 2024. If you aren't monogamous, that's fine! Poly relationships can save a lot of people a lot of tears.

I mean, if you sign a monthly contract, getting out means canceling that contract. Changing your credit card seems like an insane way to cancel Netflix, when it takes about 20 seconds to cancel Netflix. It’s not exactly some underhanded scheme, 99 percent of the time, VAU is useful in that it updates card number and ex

Yep, exactly what I said. Physical is dead but for a tiny niche of record enthusiasts that don't really affect the market.

Do you have an android? I just set up Alexa and say "Alexa play x on Spotify" always works for me.

Dude you have got to get a Bluetooth set for your helmet. I use GPS by audio only, get calls, and can control Spotify.

Right, and that really is a big upside to digital media. Less waste, less carbon from trucking boxes of media to stores. Less carbon driving to the stores, less waste upgrading your player and all of that packaging and shipping, less waste when from spindles of blanks, etc etc

While I appreciate the motive, this isn’t happening. CDs are effectively dead. Nobody is buying CD players, and even game consoles are more than halfway through eliminating them (we’re in the optional modular phase). There is virtually zero demand for CD drives, which is why they haven’t come on laptops or PCs for

Does in sync mean something different now, or is this just a bad headline?
