It is insane that this has to be repeated but:

You don’t own a game, full stop, digital or otherwise. You have a license, and that's it.

Agreed. My only experience with it is the TurboGrafx original, which I loved as a kid. That’s what it should look like.

Ubisoft has become problematic enough to give me pause here. It looks really fun, but I also hate that art style. It reminds me of the characters in every mobile game ad.

I'm pretty interested in the single player games, particularly Hellblade 2. Diablo and ESO, not even a little.

Right, how could it be stacked with only indie games? They’re so much less important, that nobody could consider this a huge month, except little babies! I mean what kind of idiot could consider this stacked without AAA titles? Those are the ones that make a difference.

And just under it

Right, because indie games aren’t real games, and nobody should be excited for them. Same with movies, months without a Marvel or Star Wars are basically worthless.

JRPGs are barely rpgs at this point, as you have almost zero character agency. It’s all debatable, as these defenition ebb and flow.

For the rest of this month, you get six titles of your choosing”

Printers have never worked. Well, never when anyone’s ever needed them to. They work when you first set them up, and they print that text page to get your hopes up, but when you have to have that boarding pass printed out and the flight’s leaving in 43 minutes, it won’t even light up. This is because, as previously

These games often demand that you memorize the locations of unreachable areas”

There is zero chance of that. Nintendo always has about a year of runway between announcement and launch. They aren’t going to have a month or two window, that would be completely ludicrous. Nobody in the industry is making these wild speculations, sometimes Kotaku has some seriously ridiculous takes with hardware

What in the world are you talking about? The original switch was also announced the October prior. That's not even on the edge of possible.

That headline has me apoplectic. AARP... AI... Mario.

Definitely this year. But I’m thinking October-November with a summer announcement.

Orders of magnitude cooler.

Meh, Myanmar isn’t a little third world country, with a population about the same as England.

Since the majority of consoles sold are called Genesis, it’s the name most people who have one are familiar with. It's also a better name than "megadrive" which sounds like a storage device.

I feel like it's way to early for this to be the case. I would be shocked if the successor to the Switch launches before holiday season.
