Could definitely be right. Microsoft has shown more willingness to go cross platform than Sony, so anything is possible, but you're probably right on both.

You literally called the previous gen, “previous gen.” Surely whatever proceeds after previous is current.

Arguing over current gen is a different animal altogether, because we currently have multiple generations in play. But surely next Gen is whatever is next, yeah?
