I think she believes that. I certainly hope that nobody is violent, and I particularly hope there is no looting anywhere near her house.

We both live in California.  Not too much MAGA fuckery around here, although there is some in the northern part of the state.

I tried to talk to my sister about this, and she said that the left wing media had made a sucker out of me.

I told my sister that Trump’s violent followers were “rabid and stupid” and she ripped me a new asshole. She said they were sensible people who wanted low taxes, and that I was a sucker for believing left-wing media.

I just wrote to my sister to warn her about the possibility of violence on Election Day. She wrote back and said too bad the left-wing media had made a sucker out of me.

It sure makes us appreciate relative normalcy.

I actually don’t understand this story. Trump has no problem with violating attendance-limit rules all over the country at his rallies. Suddenly, he’s gun-shy about violating a rule at his own hotel? Who on earth would even be able to enforce it?

I have never seen these anywhere else. This particular supermarket chain is called Stater Brothers, and is rather small, based in California.

Ugh.  You’d think it would be self-evident, wouldn’t you?  I can’t believe how many fans Trump still has.  

That would be fun if you’re right!  None of the prognosticators have chosen Indiana for going blue, but just the thought of it makes me smile.

What I wish someone could answer for me is this: what are the chances that criminal charges will be brought against Trump and members of his administration? I would love to see Trump locked up, unable to tweet.

I agree with Fucking Stupid, but I also think in some cases there is a longing for simplicity in their thinking. I have a neighbor who I like very much, who is very kindly, yet loves Trump.
