It’s continually depressing the degree to which so many people in this country who would be helped by unions reflexively hate them all.

One of the victories of these early protesters was the forming of unions, which in turn benefitted all workers, not just the unionized ones.

Why is this a thing?! “The lady will have...” No. Fuck you. I’ll tell them what I’m going to have. The fuck? My parents stopped ordering my food for me as soon I was capable of forming coherent sentences! I swear to God my father and I have a more equal relationship than some couples, and he’s still legally

“Sort of like a guy ordering for his date, both a show of power and a show of intimacy.”

Yes. Good manners are never not en vogue.

I have been on a lot of bad dates, but never has someone dared to order for me. I did have a guy criticize me for ordering crawfish at the crawfish restaurant.

I operate on very strict social conventions, and I always say “please” and “thank you” and definitely utilize more “passive” tones of voice when making a request.

I order for my wife often, after she asks me to. She’s indecisive and I’m the foody who does all the cooking. I try and ask questions but if I go that route I get a “just fuckin do it” look.

I only just now have contemplated the situation, and can’t get over how weird and overreaching it is to have someone order for you, like just pick what you get to eat?! WHY would anyone want to do that?!

I’ve had men try to order for me before, and I hate it. It’s one thing for my husband to order something for me because I communicated to him what I wanted, and loathe speaking to people, and fail at social interaction, and, holy shit, how do I eye contact?; but assholes who do this without prompting and to show that

Anyone can have incredibly damaging and permanent side effects from an allergic reaction to just about anything. All drugs, from those that save our lives to those that make our pimples go away, have potential side effects. Most of those side effects are either mild or only occur in a tiny fraction of the population

It’s worth noting that they have already denied the science of the safety of the preservative. The one that has been deemed safe in several independent peer reviewed studies listed between 74 and 89 at least.

My nephew is on the spectrum and was vaccinated and let me say we are all glad he’s alive and didn’t succumb to/infect his classmates with some archaic disease. Shocking, right? He’s a nice kid who is smart but awkward and really likes Star Wars and Pokémon. How scary!

Thank you, WMFD!!!

It really pisses me off when people are all BUT AUTISM!!!!!!! Death is on the line! DEATH! Even if there was a link (WHICH THERE IS NOT!) it is so insulting to people with autism. And they seem so completely oblivious to how fucking obtuse they are being.

Imagine being their kids on the spectrum, and knowing your dads think you are less-than, and wish they could trade you in for someone “better.”

And vaccines are vital for those people who cannot be vaccinated do to health issues.

I’m so sorry you are tired. However I hope you keep screaming at the top of your lungs in every comment section, and at every opportunity you get.

Why would you listen to self-proclaimed authorities on this issue, who have no medical training or expertise? I work in health policy and I will tell you the research consistently proves vaccines are safe. Not getting vaccinated creates a public health hazard. How many kids have to die of preventable diseases before
