Now you're getting personal...

It’s an easy mistake to make. I still remember the time my wife came rushing out the front door, yelling “I said RAKE the leaves! RAKE!”

Clinton better win by a goddamned landslide.

MURDER LOL IDK

I have beef with the Blackfish. That old bastard should've gone to help Sansa, not stayed do die at Riverrun like a dumbass.

Starred for “porpoiseful”.

I love the seemingly purposeful (porpoiseful?) tail splashing. “Snatch it back eh, then LAUGH? Screw all of you then.”

I still see no reason to think that. It seems that you think being atheist and not worshipping a god means something negative will come of a group coming together. Again, nothing in the club’s purported purpose indicates anything negative or destructive, and only someone who simply doesn’t want godless people talking

No, I don’t see that. YOU may, but I don’t see how anything in that description translates to “we will deface property/do physically dangerous things/commit crimes/do bad things.”

Well, except for the part where the group is bullshit. Did you look up what they’re planning to do with the club? Sounds pretty fucking awesome to me. And not remotely bullshit.

I’m not sure where you’re getting that the club’s “mores are founded on rebellion and acting on one’s every feeling.” Certainly not from this article. And to compare satanists to taggers or pyrotechnicians makes no logical sense. Nowhere did they even imply that they would be defacing any property or doing anything

“Mat Staver has made a mockery of the Liberty Counsel’s claimed mission with his recent disingenuous and unintelligent statements. Claiming the Liberty Counsel fights for religious freedom while offering pro bono services to suppress religions they disapprove of is hypocritical and a bald faced attempt to advance

The Good News Clubs teach morals, character development, patriotism and respect from a Christian viewpoint.

I do love when people manage to lay bare the cynical linguistic contortionism that goes on to try to make political goals seem more palatable than they actually are. Like when “forcing Christianity on others” became re-coded as the much more neutral and difficult to oppose “religious freedom.” The Satanists are

Considering my public K-12 schools were all used for many Christian orgs and my high actually served as a church on Sundays I never thought I’d be pro-more religion in schools but I am so jazzed at the idea of seeing Satanists in my high school.

These kinds of christians who are always crying foul of someone not respecting their religious beliefs, yet can’t stand the idea of other people having the right to make their own choices about other religious possibilities.

Some religions are more equal than others! That’s definitely in the Constitution.

I'm sorry Mr. Staver but, even assuming arguendo that the Satanic Temple is nothing more than an amalgamation of atheists who have banded together to mock Christianity, the government has no Constitutional basis to inquire into the validity of the Temple's beliefs or the sincerity of its members.
