I have been binge watching House of Cards since a few days ago when I figured, oh well, running out of things to watch on Netflix. I was really bored initially and now I'm hooked.

Or negative thinking. I think that's how I got mine, from being a cynical bitch.

Awww I remember him ai-eee! PBS was definitely my first exposure to cooking shows. Well, maybe aside from stuff like Wok With Yan and whatever else went on the CBC. Remember Frugal Gourmet though? I used to love his show but well, what happened later....

Unpopular opinion, I have little to no interest in watching Masterchef Junior.

I'm a little biased as I'm a fan, but I don't get that from him really. I like his honesty regarding his flaws/history and his humility when visiting other parts of the world. He does not take over a room when he's with other people and I find he plays down his culinary ability / sees himself as more of a cook than

I have never tried Skyline chili and I don't eat beef, but a quick look at the recipe makes it seem not far off the flavors of piccadillo or like what goes in pastitsio? Having had both of those I would solidly endorse it !

I need to try some of those eye products. I had chemo a few years ago, one that was harsh on the tear ducts (Taxotere) and while it got better, I still have problems with watery eyes, particularly if I am tired and yawny or it is cold out, or some times just for no reason whatsoever. And they water UP sometimes too,

I've had some success with the lipstick / dab / a little powder / lipstick routine, although even that wore off after a while. Lip stain under a regular lipstick works well.

I easily get the gunk too so I could never line my waterline.

I'll play. My hair is fine too (and stick straight) but I have a lot of it. It tangles like no one's business too, but regular conditioners rarely work for me (plus sometimes if I go for a deep conditioner then later use my mousse stuff I get this weird wax-like texture in parts of my hair). Anyway, what's worked

Popcorn on the stove is the BEST. Do that with an oil/coconut oil combo and douse that shit with some butter and seasonings.

That is beautiful !

We've had several bad snowstorms here the past while. Even when nothing was open, people were still risking getting stuck out on the road (and in the way of snowplows), just so they could go for a drive / believe they will starve to death without a container of milk for one day at the one convenience store that

I like a lot of South African wines go to's, nothing much expensive, stuff like The Wolftrap Syrah, Inception Red, The Grinder etc. I also like Apothic Red and Carnivor Cabernet. I go through phases of what I like though, mostly reds. I like some local winery's white wines and stuff like Cupcake Chardonnay or a

I don't get it either, unless a server feels the need to argue with me that something isn't what it is (happened to me once with real bacon bits on a salad - making something tiny doesn't make the pork go away). I apologize a lot if I have to send something back, even if it was because a major ingredient wasn't

I don't know if it is a plus line but they had a section in my local store with larger sizes. It was like two racks worth, but still.

I have found a couple of things at Forever21 plus and H&M plus. I have a coat from Laura and a dress from regular priced items, both for special occasion type things. Have a couple of tops I got way marked down. I don't like their return policies TBH.

I was on Tamoxifen first via my MO, and it was later I saw a gyno-onc who started me on the lupron. Treatment might change next time I see my MO but I had been told I'd be on Tamoxifen for ten years, and honestly I'm a little afraid of giving it up! I was diagnosed in the fall of 2010. Stage II IDC.

That is par for the course. My first post-treatment gyno appointment, they wanted to do a biopsy on me too, just for monitoring purposes. They couldn't get to do it so I had a couple of pelvic ultrasounds instead. FWIW I had a thin lining my last test.

I agree. I can not stand milk*. Even watching someone drink it gives me the slight gags (for the record, I love yogurt and cheese). I had not eaten breakfast cereal for years because of it. Then I discovered rice milk, and almond milk and coconut milk and breakfast cereal is once again my friend.
