Today I learned the word “wokewashing”
Tim Collins, if you’re reading this, hit me up.
I’m glad I’m immune to the siren song of mint condition. I’d pay $25 for a loose copy of Secret of Mana with TIM COLLINS sloppily scrawled on both sides in magic marker and never need anything better.
They don’t even allow males to show their nipples, this isn’t an equality or sexism thing. Just poor wording in the quote.
According to your article i guess that makes us sexist.
It’s relevant because all of these people came from a company that is under a lot of fire for the massive number of sexual harassment allegations reported by its female employees. It says a lot that of all the people they enticed to join their company, they couldn’t find a single female co-worker willing to come along…
“I work at a AAA studio, fewer than 1 in 10 CVs we get are from women. Not everything is caused by the patriarchy ffs”
Not everything is caused by the patriarchy, but the fact that you get so few women applicants definitely is.
You ever wonder why women aren’t applying?
They actually named their company “Notorious” - how can you NOT write this article when they’re trying to evoke an edgy, careless attitude with the very first thing people know about them?

Lol was about to post this, glad I scrolled down and saw your post.
Somebody on reddit did some research on Blue Box and apparently they’ve done things like this for years now.
“Accidentally” is very generous of you. I think it's pretty intentional.
In this case this is definitely to try and keep the esports players’ salaries low since they’re not unionized and thus would not have negotiated that cap with the owners.
Dafsinitely
It will be mourned, but not by me.
Honestly? Good. I understand it’s a classic, popular fighting game, but it’s time to freshen up that scene, and for every person there was that loved melee, there seemed to be just as many who were pissed and tired that a 15+ year old game kept getting the main stage attention at Evo instead of newer titles, and…
These shouldn’t be mutually exclusive ideas. I want the devs to be paid and I want them to have the ability to finish the work they wanted should they want to.
I also want them to have the right to beat the ass off the terrible management that put Telltale in this spot.
