I think a woman has the right to seek an abortion as late term as she wants. We can't force a person to do anything, not even donate blood, to keep another person alive. Why should we force women to carry fetuses to term?

She is being charged both ways- for self aborting and for letting the child die at birth- so clearly the prosecutors can't prove the child was not a stillborn/successful abortion.

I really want to see some proof of this "have a baby, live rent free" program you keep flogging. As far as I know, there is no such thing as "free" housing in the US under any welfare program, except for shelter services. There's subsidized housing, but even that costs something.
