That would be possible if everyone was treated the same way and given the same opportunities from the very beginning. Sadly that's not the world we live in and in order to make up for that we must level the playing field to make things equal for people of all race, ethnicity, gender and sex.

Actually the feminist stance is against putting women on a pedestal. Yes men and women should be treated the same way but they're not and haven't been for centuries and because of that now we make attempts to level the playing field for both men and women because both have experienced inequalities in different areas.

Some women can get disowned by their families because other men gave them attention. They are blamed for men's sexual advances and disowned or sometimes even killed as "honor killing" because they were simply women existing in the public sphere.

As I said above, there's a different between looking and gawking. Gawking is rude! Just because some people might like that kind of attention, doesn't make it okay to allow it and make a lot of people feel uncomfortable. Unless you know that particular person would like it, then don't do it because you're risking

There's a difference between looking and gawking. I don't care much about anyone looking at me, or even checking me out but gawking makes me very uncomfortable.
