Hey, it’s my state too, lol, but can’t say I’ve ever needed to traverse I-22, especially since it’s a relatively new interstate.
Given the corruptness of the cops, I wouldn’t be surprised if they ventured onto I-65 for extra revenue, especially since you have a Target shopping center about 10-15 min away

It would help if the US states didn’t always award the construction contracts to the lowest bidder that inevitably goes past the projected date and causes cost overruns.

That’s my number one reason why I use my horn. I don’t want to get side swiped when I’m just sitting in the turning lane because you don’t know how to turn left.

Except, in the article, they seem to venture to the interstate, as 75 residents complained about being fined for just using the left lane of the interstate (I’m guessing I-22). So you aren’t entirely safe there.

If I see anything more than 4-5 cars at McDonalds or Taco Bell, I’ll usually pass. It’s pretty much faster for me to go home and make my own food at that point.

That’s how ours was, but also dumping into the middle of an intersection or a major highway. They eventually built a new one that was designed for the logistics and it’s even faster now.

Hands down Chik-fil-a. Not necessarily because of the food, but because their top notch logistics of getting your food as fast as possible makes it the only place worthy of being called “fast” food.

I think that your situation is a little different than the Bronco buyer, where he has got a 1st edition version. The current gen Corvette has been released, so even if you don’t get your butt into a Z06, you can at least get an approximation of the car buy test driving/test sitting in a base model. Mostly the big

Is the incline up from your garage (you have to move the car uphill) or down (you have to move it downhill)?
Depending on distance, you could absolutely use these dollies plus a winch to get it out.

Sounds 100% like my state

I just got back from Finland and this was clearly mentioned in my rental agreement.
I also noticed nearly everyone had a set of rally lights, which I rather enjoyed.

Been there, done that, some motorcycles are just as bad as well (remove nearly all plastics, gage cluster, just to realize some dumb ass modified the housing to fit a nonstandard bulb and angle eye leds).
In my experience, even my halogens don’t burn out often enough running with them always on to become a significant

I do like that. Out of curiosity, could you hold the switch to Off when you are driving or is it locked out?

If the brake light is sufficiently brighter than the rear DRL, there really isn’t an issue with visibility

Glad to hear of another astrophotography guy (though I’m just a noob).
I’d imagine that for the most hardcore, they’d just modify their lights with a basic toggle switch to really shut them off.

I’d be totally okay with that. It would also reset if the car were shut off then turned back on. Make it as difficult as fully turning off traction control in some vehicles

Running lights like DRLs? No idea.
Any case I can think of to switching off all lights involves very niche cases/courtesy and all at very low speed driving. Such as driving up a driveway and you don’t want your lights to shine in to the bedroom windows at night, you are approaching a camp site/astrophotography group and

Over $1000?? You just spurned me on to look into this. Looks like a ‘22 Audi S8 has a “Matrix LED w/ Laser beam” that’s about $566 OEM per. That’s crazy, though I’d doubt you’d see any significant wear difference between it being off vs on.
Admittedly, my newest vehicle is a 2009, which still uses halogens.

Thanks for that! Kind of fascinating in that mundane sort of way.
