I do work in the industry (and even so I was in shock), so I spoke with my colleagues.

The reason is that the rarity of the car means parts are harder to come by and claims will be more expensive and take longer to settle.

I know that’s what Lexus wants people to think but I used to own both a V6 Camry XLE and a ES300 and trust me - other than the “L”s and “T”s they are EXACTLY the same.

I usually complain of much the same, but in fairness the whole discretely luxurious but doesn’t want to brag about it type of thing is what a lot of Japanese companies used to go for. So maybe it is still hitting that demographic?

This really is what the Avalon should've been. But being this size and rwd it would've infringed on Lexus and probably would've stole ES sales.

I was going to make a Toyoglide joke. Butt fuck it.

Lexus should steal any grille. Literally any other grille.

I’d rather be annoyed by overly punctual friends/family/colleagues than by the ones who keep me waiting with their lack of it.

5th: Oh, UAW, when will you learn? No one building VWs in the TN wants you, and your affections shall not be reciprocated. You tried with Honda, you tried with Toyota, you tried and tried, but sadly, no one new is going to love you. Just give up, accept your fate, and adopt a cat.

Last week. We’re all waiting on our SWA flight to leave the gate when a dude in front of me stands up and starts digging through his overhead bin. The flight crew starts staring at him and the lead tells him over the PA to sit down.

I think with people like this in general, you’re correct.

4th gear: Actually everyone has them. At least most people do. China cornered the market by selling at cut rate pricing so everyone stopped bothering to mine it themselves. The biggest mine prior to China tanking the price is actually right in CA. Its funny they made this threat as it really just highlights how China

Whats worse is that he has taken loans on about 40% of his shares and now they are worth less than the intended secured value and he may have to commit more.  What people dont understand the guy has leveraged a lot of his fortune to fund all his crazy ideas.  The reason he cares so much about hype and the stock price

On approach on a recent flight, an older woman stands up from the front and starts walking back. We couldn’t have been more than 1000 feet off the ground. Everyone starts telling her to sit down and she keeps screaming “I have to pee!” at them and telling them to get out of her way. The pilot starts calling to tell

I wonder what its like to be Elon right now.....with 38.6 million shares, he has lost about $7,200,000,000 since the start of the year. Over. Seven. Fucking. Billion. Dollars.

A reminder that not only are most people complete idiots but they also have absolutely zero awareness of how anything they do may have an immediate or downstream effect on themselves or others.

I’m sympathetic to the plight of people traveling with kids, but if my plane gets sent to the back of the goddamn line because they stood up to rock their baby to sleep, ensuring that I’m going to spend more time listening to the baby cry, the parents should be shot into the sun.

Sometimes stereotypes are completely accurate. Same trip, first flight leg on Lufthansa and predominantly German passengers. Everyone is boarded sitting down and shutting up so the pilot refiles a flight plan last minute and we actually leave about 12 minutes early. Second leg, Air Canada and a complete and utter

Dealership network is different IMO than physical locations. Tesla wanting to remove physical store locations is the silly thing. Them organizing all of their ‘dealerships’ under one the roof of Telsa is OK in my book.

Let me add something: when you are boarding and walking in the narrow aisle toward your seat, take your f* backpack off your back, so people seating in the aisle seats won’t be hit by it!

I’d prefer they took surface transport, or left the kid with family.
