The automobile part is fine. Even the discussion about the penalties are fine. But the part about “lets Uber dodge a lot of modern corporate bullshit, like being responsible or paying fair wages and health care.” is a political opinion that reasonable people can disagree about. It has no place on Jalopnik.

I always go to sarcastic car web sites for deep and probing analysis on for foreign policy.

your argument that nafta has created more jobs than lost is laughable.

what a bullshit false equivalency. If you aren’t seriously taking into consideration significant trade deficits then you aren’t being genuine. we have a $50B trade deficit with mexico. 1.1M jobs for 5,000? wtf are you talking about?

You can’t just spout off export numbers without mentioning what is imported. It’s called a trade deficit. It is not good.

More like eight...

To steal the tweet of the year: It’s true, Democrats haven’t been this pissed off since we freed the slaves.

Thanks Kellyanne! Isn’t it time to gargle the Tang balls?

Username checks out.

Subaru is the fastest growing car company right now

Subaru ads are becoming as weird as the Prius ads from a few years ago. Not quite there, yet, but in the same neighborhood.

The only time I care about when it comes to an EV is its recharging time. The last time I filled up my petrol car, it took me roughly four minutes from start to finish. When an electric car can perform similarly at the recharging station, perhaps I’ll then start to examine its 0-60 performance.

Yeah, they really have the lesbian (outback) and dudebro (wrx and STI) market cornered....

You are my favorite writer here.

Based on their commercials from the past few years, they might as well make this their new slogan:

That POS 2.5 has been in their cars for about double that already. I think they’ve managed all of 175 hp out of that dog.

It really doesn’t work that way, at all, with how and when people brake and all that, and then there’s the efficiencies involved.

I don’t think anyone needs to catch up to a company using the same engine for the last 10 years.....

I hate Subaru ads....

You used “snowflake”, so no, you’re not doing it right.
