Doesn’t change the comment at all. Kids are kids. Parents are parents. That’s pretty damn simple. The kids haven’t done ANYTHING (and I do mean anything) that warrants such scrutiny.

I think we think it doesn’t sound as bad because we’re assuming he didn’t mean to take too much medication. You can’t really argue that someone with a BAC of .10 didn’t mean to get drunk. So there is a bit of a difference in perceived intent there I think, regardless of whether which one is actually more dangerous.

I guess from a certain viewpoint, yeah. But basketball is more of a skilled sport than running (not to take anything away from Bolt). For example, you’ll never see a runner as successful as Larry Bird was at basketball, were they only as athletic as Bird.
