Most of my conference calls involve drinking a beer while taking a shower. For some reason, I get roped into these 9 am calls about nothing, and I don’t have to be at work until 3 pm.
I just cop to it, with a little mis-truth to make it less un-professional. “I’m sorry, I was just responding to an email question someone sent, can you repeat the question.”
