I think she killed it. I would easily put it in the top 5 of all time (Prince is #1). And it shows you don’t have to have a lot of guests during the show. Just pick someone great and build it all around them. From the opening to the end she gave a complete performance. One thing I noticed though: When she goes running

“Are we really that petty?”
If there is a forum cattier than the comments section for “The Muse,” I haven’t found it yet.

And she did it in heels too...

Since’s we’re talking about superheroes, here is an actual one, and a Patriot that you can like:

She sang one of her largest hits that even to a community outside of the LGBTQAI community, has still became synonymous with it. She has put her money where her mouth is with her personal advocacies.

Anyone else feel getting nostalgic feels for the old Gaga from this performance? It may be the glittery, futuristic costumes and the make-up, as well as her singing her old songs. But, this did not feel like Joanne-era Gaga. I love and appreciate that she’s evolving but I will always love the outrageous weirdo version

She was freakin’ great and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise.

She doesn’t owe us anything. I find it interesting that we have comments peppered with critique for a woman that sang a fucking gay anthem on the Super Bowl stage. Are we really that petty?

Poor Pink. So underrated.

Seconded. Baaaarrrffff

Ps fuck the Pats and FUCK Brady

I was literally dressed as a founding (mother) father at the women’s march. Someone said I was smart to appropriate the tea party for a liberal protest, I replied that I agreed but also I want to reverse the notion that somehow patriotism is reserved for conservatives. time to take that shit back!

She started with God Bless America and then went into This Land which was an angry response to Irving Berlin’s, God Bless America.

Fun fact: Woody Guthrie actually referenced his despised NYC landlord in one of his songs. The guy’s name was Fred Trump.

I would have preferred the lesser known Old Man Trump.

Because it came in a white package. Easier for bigots to swallow & ignore that pill.

Yup. People have been singing This Land is Your Land at all of the protests. Also Woody Guthrie fucking hated Trump’s father, who was his landlord, and wrote a song about him. Super subtle but awesome.

It was a very political choice. This Land Is Your Land is a Woody Guthrie song with a lot of forgotten verses-

Everyone is all like “finally not political like Beyoncé!”

Omg I’m so glad you guys posted an article on this. I LOOOOOVED the show. I thought it was amazing.
