I like Ivar, but I get that he's not really likable? I think he's interesting, though, especially compared to the other sons (minus Bjorn, who I've always liked the most). The scenes he got with Ragnar before he died were really good, and while he's clearly some kind of sociopath at least he's not a boring one.

I should feel worse about this but also man was his actual romantic relationship on the show SO dull. It seemed like the kind of thing that was like "…well I guess they wrote this in so we should do it." Plus I fully buy that all of Ragnar's kids would be cheating assholes seeing that they were totally cool passing

That picture for the Netflix show almost made me scroll past it but then I read "much to the confusion of her partner in business and marriage (Timothy Olyphant)" and know now that I'll clearly have to watch the whole season.

I'm super impressed that you made it through Freak Show AND Hotel, but confused how this season was the one that broke you. I couldn't finish either of those (I came close to finishing Hotel, but after the Serial Killer Dinner Party episode I just died a little inside and stopped), but I actually watched this season

Yeah, I agree. It changed directions, for sure, but it was an intentional shift and not the typical AHS problem of 'maybe we didn't think this plot through all the way before we started rolling with it'.

I liked the first season. It's sort of silly, but it was fun silly. I would definitely stop after that though, and I wouldn't necessarily run to watch that one either unless you've got time to kill.

Like I read first lines of articles, psh.

A+ would watch, but only if the detectives were the Special Orphans and not the victims of crimes.

WOW, spoiler tag, sheeeesh.

What you want some plain broad playing a character who was a starving orphan street kid? You're nuts. That's insane.

Oh no have I got bad news for you:

How -did- Sleepy Hollow go from being so campy and fun to the huge hot mess it was later?

Or the graphic novel.

I hope they put it right by that gritty modern procedural cop show reboot of King Arthur.

juztpazzingby— secretly the Hulk (virtually anyway).

Ok, that I can get on board with.

Right? She's a good looking lady but she's not that young.

That's fair enough. I guess to me it just makes way more sense for her to be a lady in her 40s/50s if the kid is a teenager than to be someone who looks like she's pushing 70. I totally get your point, though.

100% absolutely, it's like you read my mind.

I have some time off coming up and I think I know what to schedule in now.
