The order you read books of similar nature in can radically redefine your perception of their content as well.  This may be part of your difference in concept.

Like the $1000 price tag?  I mean, might be nothing to you, but...

Because it wasn’t even anything to freak out over. The amounts of radiation released were comparable to international flights and medical testing... and thanks to our lovely containment structure the reactor, while toast, still contained the meltdown.

I can’t even watch half the documentaries on this thing.  It’s like

Bought an original (pre-order) one, microphone stopped working within 3 months. Had to FIGHT support to get a replacement, they shipped one (finally) with a defective camera (couldn’t focus at all) and defective audio. Shipped me another one, audio failed on it less than a month later but it was the other mic that

With Springfield airport it could literally be anything - it’s used for military and civilian both, or I’ve seen enough of both landing/taking off there to believe so (my office is pretty close...)

Came here to post this. Thank you sir.

Yet.

If your own thing operates in any way that causes interference on regulated bands or has malicious intent, then yeah that’s kind of illegal...  See ‘pirate radio’ stations...

Civil engineering is more like “Why didn’t it work as designed” than “why not”

Note how close Missouri S&T is to that junkyard.  Considering Neosho is only a few hours away, I’d bet they sent one there for display or something for the Aerospace Engineering department.  (Kind of like how there’s a GM EV1 sitting somewhere there as well, as I’m sure you’re aware).

They’re really only effective as a preventative, not as a control or extermination method. I usually bomb the house and crawlspace, a few days later do my perimeter application, then my lawn. Staged to drive the crap away.

I have about several billion pesticide-resistant ants that live in my yard in several (I hope)

Pretty damn close, I didn’t miss it by much lol

I’d disagree with them, but I don’t think anyone has ever watched that voluntarily...a prank seems so much more likely.

All joking aside, the company I work for heavily tracks our vehicles for potential safety hazards (that really is the main reason, 100% honest). Statistically, it’s far, far safer to back into a spot - I don’t recall the exact number but I believe 60+% of incidents coming from a parked to moving vehicle are due to

Ouch.
My auger itself is all plastic. The driveshaft inside it and the plates/drive housing of course are metal, but the auger is what concerns me long-term.

Flip side, it was only $24.

Worth noting that the metal grinder seems to be much better in terms of longevity than the plastic one.

That said... we got the spiralizer (YESSSSS) and the grinder for Christmas off of my wishlist.  They’ve both already been used...a lot.

Mine’s not metered, here in SW Missouri.  I swapped from AT&T to the cable company because the service was better (actually getting more than I’m paying for), they don’t have a BW cap or throttling, and the service is insanely more reliable.

Or you could just carry 4 of these and do it by hand, with minimal risk of damaging the vehicle in any way...

Not sure what part of the country we’re in here, but CB’s are alive and well. Most truckers still seem to have them (Re: Twisted Truckers on FB). I’ve been debating a portable one because I spend so much time on the interstate. (~100-300mi a day).

And then unfortunately that person will get sued, even though the person picking up the package in the first place was in the wrong.

I vote taser and immediate 911 by one of the phones inside though. Few contacts on the box, zzzzappp. Should theoretically be legal with a ‘no trespassing’ sign...?
