“The officers had reason to believe Jackson owned/possessed a firearm with a suppressor.”
“The officers had reason to believe Jackson owned/possessed a firearm with a suppressor.”
I mean oak trees ARE brown afterall.
No shit. Seeing that cop dump his mag into the car, and reading that another cop joined in, and all I can think is whether the poor fucker cuffed in the back lived through it. Even just a link to the source story would have been nice.
I was gonna say the same. Thank goodness cops are terrible shots. Essentially point blank and both guns emptied. And the guy is still around? Should be given a get out of jail free card for having to deal with that idiocy.
Jackson, who was in the cruiser while under fire, was apparently unharmed - physically. But he likely has severe PTSD from the terrifying experience.
As ridiculous as this story is, it would be very nice if you had... oh, I don’t know... reported the condition of the person who was inside the car being fired upon. Is Marquis Jackson still alive? Did these hapless cops needlessly murder someone because they heard an acorn? One might never know, when the media makes…
4k miles for 45K same color
No big deal for actual owners. They have plenty of other cars to drive.
That thing is awesome. But not $17.5k awesome.
That’s no rock-hopper. That’s some concrete cowboy’s chrome plated cock extension.
I love how deep those rear buckets are. I recall when all coupes had rear seats like that.
“...many of the photos in the ad have date stamps from 2011 on them...” As if things don’t change when 12 years go by. Plus right-hand drive. Plus those awful wheels. Equals ain’t gonna happen--ND to the 10th power.
We have reached the point of capitalism where we’re literally out here donating money to corporations for no reason.
Sometimes, “someone else’s vision” is just as ND as “someone else’s project.” This may be built and maintained to a exquisite standard, but it’s still done to someone’s very specific taste. Unless you have some cosmic soul connection with the seller, it’s going to be meaningless.
It’s probably a fair price for what it is, but the changes have made the car even more brutish and even less comfortable to drive. “Just because you can doesn’t mean that you should.” It’s become the typical Texas car (“Mine’s bigger than yours”), trading finesse for swagger. ND, for me.
Hilarious. Were this not a manual wagon it’s 3K car, add 2K for configuration and maybe 5K. Rust, poverty spec, black (painted?) wheels, random wires under dash, “squeaky belts”, oh and 135K miles at least with a broken odometer...for $15.8 GTFOOH. Crackity crack crack
Seems like a big spend for an overdone mall crawler. ND for me.
An FJ60 with a modern powertrain and a fresh coat of paint is not “worth” $100k. That may be what the seller needs to recoup their costs of doing a full restoration and all the modifications; but I would direct them to the handbook on “Buying Someone Else’s Project Car”. Furthermore, they built this in California but…
I’m feeling optimistic today, so I went NP assuming this goes to an Alfa devotee who knows what lies ahead. All others should run away. But this is the kind of vote that requires a middle option. Nice Dice?
