I voted np. But can we also know why the column disappeared for a few days and came back with a new writer?

Maybe enough with the “this is it” lazy headline? Search Google for site: jalopnik.com “this is it” shows about 161K results. Move on with this headline already, it’s getting ridiculous (actually it already is, long, long ago).

Web scraping, once a black hat SEO technique, is now a common practice. It was bad then and it’s much much worse now thanks to anonymous scraping tools like Bright Data. I Hope they sue and win, and do the same with Google and MS who are a lot bigger (and richer) offenders. Hopefully scraping will meet its end then.

Good and helpful list to me, was not aware of 3 of them and they look promising

For a minute there i though you meant Talbot Solara (better?? known as the Simca 1307)

Scraping was once a black hat seo technique, now it’s a common practice powering the biggest tech companies. If search engines are providing “answers” instead of sending users to the source who actually wrote the answer, this could spell a death sentence to much of the web.

While oxygen is likely at critical levels or altogether spent, Rear Adm. John Mauger of the U.S. Coast Guard told Today that the human spirit can’t be discounted in situations like these.”

Ai, at this stage, cant make everyone a programmer, but it does make sites like stackoverflow, and many, many others redundant. Also, the click rate (if any at all) in these answers is gonna drive traffic down for many other sites. I think the internet will be a different place in a few years, and not for the better.

I live in a country where cars cost more then twice compared to the US. This is exactly the asking price for a 2012 transit where I live. Seems like an obvious ND in the US

No doubt some rich people will get richer off of this. But should I, the small investor, drop my NFT, dall-e, Bitcoin or Tesla holdings for this?

This car is the motorized equivalent of bloatware on your phone or PC

Not saying crypto is legit, but when traditional banks collapse they just get bailed out with tax money. Government backed ponzi scheme is still a ponzi scheme

Asimov's R. Daneel Olivaw is exactly that. Especially in the Foundation series.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day (or less, for Elon)

A working horn would be nice on a $90k car

If i had a nickel for every time a billionaire promised to donate his fortunes....

20 a month is about what i pay for Netflix and Disney+. So yeah, now i have to choose between an endless stream of content or a blue V next to my name.

Now playing

Wild at Heart reference is highly appropriate and appreciated

It’s getting pretty hard finding NPOND here. It was once part of the main navigation, now it isn’t even featured on the homepage. Shame

US readers probably won’t recognize the name, but Better Place was a colossal automotive flop (or rather a scam). The company didn’t make the cars (Renault did), It just wanted to tie buyers to its proprietary electric network for life. Tesla, originally, was inspired by the same idea.
