More like tot-n-dad jerseys amiright?

The Blazers were 3.5 point favorites in this game. Also, despite the fact that the Thunder are incapable of running an offense which would indeed eat Kanter alive, he played poorly on defense, and a couple blocks doesn’t change that. His offensive rebounding and usual efficient scoring touch are why he was +15 this

9 games is pretty good actually. At my work, it was only about 5 minutes into my first game of The Witcher 3 before IT made it pretty clear they weren’t going to help me get it to run better than 8 fps.

I wouldn’t worry if I was the fans—Russ’s follow through on his shots fired is pretty bad.

He started with his head down, but it came up during his swing(s).  I’m guessing his critic was on to something.

These takes were fun for a while (I guess?) but they ran their course a long time ago. The sooner Deadspin starts to cover these topics with the reasonable perspective and appropriate snark they actually deserve, the sooner we might get somewhere. There is more than enough bullshit to target in this broken system

It does seem that teams sometimes outsmart themselves, but I don’t see this as one of those instances.

Nurkic is, uh, pretty decent, actually. That is all.

Chris, you are a superb writer and reporter but I’m nearly certain you have this headline and article chronologically reversed.

It looks like that poor statistician got saved from one loose ball and took two more.

[* Block has outburst *]
Manager: “You need to go to HR, Block.”
Block: “I have my own personal accountant who does my taxes— I AM A BLOCK, NOT ONE OF YOU!!!

[** Lead protester takes phone call **]

His ball striking left something to be desired all day, really.

“Send [the back of that man’s skull] in, Jerome!”

As someone with a graphic design history, I often let the phrase “the design isn’t done until you’ve removed everything it can do without” guide me. In the case of Super Bowl VII, the design is not done, as there is still that logo there.

An ingenious ploy to disguise handballs for the rest of the match.

I agree. It is the passing that lead up to the final cross that killed the “potential energy” of the attack and negated the angles of a 6-v-1. They were the wrong passes to make and the last one to Promes needlessly left him with a dying ball and a crashing defender (maybe he should have done better but the point is

This is the worst offensive line I’ve seen from the Mavericks since I looked up Harrison Barnes on basketball-reference.com

Gus Frerotte would like a word with you.

Also, there’s almost 50 major leaguers who make as much as the top 7 or so starting quarterbacks in the NFL. It’s certainly no sure thing he’ll rise through the minors in the MLB to be a top 50 player, but I don’t see how you can plainly argue it’s more likely he’ll be a top 7 NFL quarterback.
