I believe you but I don't remember the scumbags being there. Maybe it was where I went to shows, probably it's just my memory being selective because I do remember those sorts at Phish shows.

I liked that the shows felt like a big picnic/family reunion. People of all ages, some messed up on one thing or another, some sober but non judgemental, everybody happy. The dirty hippies at Dead shows were stand-up folks. Not at all like the dirty hippies at Phish concerts.

I didn't think it was watchable but my kids liked Shark Boy and Lava Girl and it makes me happy to know that it was a project he made with his own kids. Being that awesome of a dad is much cooler than making Machete movies (and I loved the first Machete movie and still look forward to the second).
