I had no idea that Sunday Night continued without Jools. I've always loved watching performance highlights from his BBC show.

My friend made his dad flip out with that trick. Complete success.
I guess the thing is that most so-called UFOs are not all that difficult to identify (to make a likely identification at least) if one takes the time to investigate.
Skeptics are more likely to be libertarians than the general population, I would guess (but not assume without evidence, natch!), but the skeptic movement is certainly not political itself and I would also guess that the majority of skeptics who self-identify with any political label would call themselves liberal.
Ghosts, bigfoot and UFOs are just hooks to get people's attention, to a large extent. The skeptic community's real aims are to educate people to look for plausibility and evidence in order to avoid harm. Psychics and alt med practitioners are more often the actual targets of activism.
"oft-insufferable skeptical community"
The "would you believeā¦" gags were my favorites.
I am new to the world of the Doctor and have been watching the Eccleston series with my 7 and 4 year olds (the 20 month old really likes it too). In fact, these were the first two they watched just last week. They loved it. I'm fine with the farting aliens gags.
My favorite guitar solo is that one that goes SKRONK! and then does some pretty stuff. I don't remember the song.
For real.
Listen to me, son: Pete Rock & CL Smooth. Go now. Thank me later.
