I think she's very pretty but her acting skills are seriously lacking. Maybe her husband Vincent Kartheiser can teach her a thing or two. Watching her in Mad Men was painful, I could totally see her trying so hard to act but she just doesn't connect with me in any of her series/movies. But I still love her.

As a resident of LA, I like the little references the show makes to the city. I think the songs/jokes are funnier because I know what they mean. Like the fact that most of the residents in the song are minorities since the valley IS full of latinos and asians.

I chalk up that Bates comment to just referring to small chitchat in the dining room that we didn't really have to see.

He started out as this annoying butler/valet to Matthew then slowly we see his character unfold and your heart just breaks for him. He has given me some of the good laughs and tears in the series.
