This seems like a pretty huge flaw in iOS? Obviously nobody should be doing that, but why on earth does that feature even exist without having to like, match or have both ends click something? If it uses something like Bluetooth or NFC, I don't know what the airline can even do about it.

What exactly would you propose an airline do here? Just bring realistic about this, do they ban iphones? They already arrested the guy they found. If they struck a deal with Apple to provide law enforcement access to everyone’s phone who is on a plane, so everyone can be searched until a person doing this is found,

They absolutely do. Every time there’s a trans article on here I get the same troll demanding to know whether I think a ten year-old should be allowed to take puberty blockers. If that’s ever happened (I’m guessing it maybe did once), then it’s an outlier and a half. But of course, that’ll be what they focus on, not,

He definitely looks like he’d rather be hanging out with all the boys at the Y-M-C-A.

“Either way, the punchline feels gimmicky in a gross way, especially seeing as Simpson ranks among the most maligned murder victims of all time.”

I feel like “How late are you open” is sometimes a legitimate question. Sure, sometimes it means “I’m coming, please accommodate me” but sometimes you just want to know if you can make it to a place before it closes and “you can’t” is a valid answer.

Exactly. They don’t need to know exactly how it works. Their job is to promote the issue and availability.

I mean...I wish all of it was forgiven.

as a parent myself, her point at a very high level is well-taken—give your kids chores, the older they get, the more they should have (not to the point of slave labor however). And then she had to lean into it a little too hard like a good wannabe social media “influencer” by talking about stuff she read on some

Right now, there are four replies to this story (not including this one); all but one complain about the quality of writing. The only one taken out of the grays is the one which doesn’t.

The fuck is up with that title? The article is supportive at least but seriously... the fuck is with that borderline sarcastic tone and condescending tagline:

You forgot measurements.

They’re both consenting adults. There’s no indication Braff did anything untoward with her, therefore no reason for any of us to bitch about it OR bully Pugh about it enough to break it off.

Yeah, I thought watching this movie that it was actually kind of refreshing that it had political dialogue. Most of these movies have a similar ‘opposites’ dynamic but seem too afraid to explicitly state the political implications of each position. Though don’t get me wrong; this movie is hot garbage.

So this is his new thing after he finally figured out how magnets work?

The common thread is “popular author receives death threats”

Say it again for the people in the back. I get it when teens make the blue/green message thing an issue, they’re young, dumb, and haven’t been shown better. But as an adult to care about what color your messages show as (unless you’re colorblind) , and to make that part of your personality is just weird.

As an Android user, no: it doesn’t “suck” not to have iMessage. The only ones who care about the “green circle” thing are iphone users. 70% of the world remains completely unaffected by your drama.

Whether she didn’t have the same experience, or she did but doesn’t want to publicly relive it, it’s Margaret Qualley’s decision to be involved or not in the suit. Confronting her in public like this is abusive and counter-productive.

Nice to see crypto finding some legitimate non-criminal use cases
